The most impressive FireFox add-on EVER.

Yes, that required a period at the end, because I’ve never seen anything even remotely as cool. It’s called Cooliris, and you need to download it now. It only works for certain sites, but trust me, it’s amazing. Go to Flickr or YouTube then click on the Cooliris icon, and you’ll see what I mean.

Redesign

With the creation of my super-awesome photoblog, I decided to freshen up the look of my regular blog at the same time. This was quite problematic, cause dreamhost decided to move my files over to a new server without me realizing (they sent me an email, but it’s a long story). Anyhow, this is the [...]

My new photoblog

Since this blog isn’t cool enough and it never gets updated, I’ve started a photoblog: foto.hhalmaghi.com! I’ve posted some new light-trail shots I took yesterday, but the rest are older pictures. Check them out!

Canadian Federal Election 2008 - Part 2: The Parties

This post is a little late, but it’s here at last, as promised. I’m going to break down the “three” main parties and their general stances and promises to date. I bunny-eared three because all the latest polls make this really a one-sided election, and not all parties running actually have a chance. In no [...]

Canadian Federal Election 2008 - Part 1: The System

Prime Minster Stephen Harper officially requested our Governor General to dissolve parliament last Sunday, citing political deadlock in an economically-troubled time. Federal elections have been called for October 14, 2008 (right after Thanksgiving) and this is the first time I’ll be able to vote! I think I’m too excited about this, since Canadian politics are [...]

A picture every hour for twenty-four hours

As I was driving home from Andreea’s today, I thought about a cool photography project. As the title implies, I want to take ‘a’ picture every hour for twenty-four. It won’t just be one, it’ll be a whole bunch i imagine, but I’ll choose one from each hour. Then… I’m not sure what I’ll DO [...]

Victoria Pictures

I finallly bought a Flickr Pro account, and I uploaded a bunch of pictures from Victoria! You can go to my gallery and see them (the CSS is kinda fucked up and therefore looks weird), or you can see them in all their full-size glory on my flickr page.

Much too lazy to describe my whole trip to Victoria

Shawn, Andy, Andreea and I just back from Victoria, BC yesterday, on Canada Day to be specific. We were there for the entire ‘long’ weekend, including the Monday which was not a holiday but both Shawn and I had it off. We left Vancouver Saturday morning, and slept three nights in a hostel called Ocean [...]

Red Album

So after having seen the video for Weezer’s Pork and Beans (thanks to Andy, I didn’t know they made a video for it yet) I’m definitely going to buy Weezer’s new album. Here’s the video:

I can’t believe they got all these famous YouTube personalities to be in their video! Apparently Rivers Cuomo said that shooting [...]
